Public transport

There is limited parking available in the vicinity of the Cable Factory. We recommend arriving by public transport whenever possible.

Metro: Ruoholahti station (approx. 800m)
Tram: Line 8, nearest stop Kaapelitehdas
Bus: nearest stop Salmisaari

Parking

Passenger cars: There are paid parking spaces limited to two hours around the Cable Factory. Longer-term parking is available e.g. at the Ruoholahti shopping centre garage.

Accessible parking: Accessible parking spaces are available at the Cable Factory. (For more details, see Accessibility.)

Getting here in pictures

The door to Glass Courtyard from the direction of Kaapeliaukio, approaching from the metro station.
The automatically opening doors are on the right, the button is on the wall.
When approaching from Tallberginkatu, pass through the gatehouse into the courtyard.
This is the entrance to the Glass Courtyard. Note: the doors on this side do not have automatic opening.
The ticket office and information point are located in the Glass Courtyard.
In the museums’ shared lobby there are coat racks and lockers (behind the wall with information screens on the right) and toilets. Additional toilets are located on the Theatre Museum floor. Access to the Theatre Museum (2nd floor) by lift or stairs. Groups that have booked a workshop or a guided tour will be picked up from the lobby.
