Customers may study the Theatre Museum’s collection materials in the museum’s research room by agreeing to the archive’s usage rules. A separate agreement is made for material orders and use.

Paid information service

Paid information service refers to more extensive archive and information searches as well as inquiries related to photographs or other materials, carried out on behalf of the customer. Work is charged based on time spent. When placing an order, the scope of the search, the information to be provided, and any time or cost limits are agreed upon.

Image service, digitization service

Image files are usually delivered via download link. If delivery requires a separate storage device, such as a USB stick or external hard drive, actual costs will be charged.

Delivery time: 1 week.
Large orders by agreement.

Urgency surcharge:
30 € / order of 1–5 images
60 € / order of 6–10 images

Commercial use must be agreed separately.
Digitization outside the museum must be agreed separately.

If the material is subject to copyright or related rights, the customer is responsible for clarifying usage rights and any fees payable to the rights holder.

Loans

Audio and video recordings for educational and research use 25 € / recording
Object loan: 30–1000 €* / object
Archive loan: 10–100 €* / archive unit

Handling fee applies to object and archive loans.
Archive loan handling fee: 40 €.
Object loan handling fee (includes preparation and condition check, retrieval/return, packing/unpacking, packing materials, etc.):
60 € / loan for 1–5 objects
100 € / loan for 6–10 objects
Large orders negotiated separately.

Note! Possible conservation costs are charged separately.
Transport and related costs are the responsibility of the customer.

*Fee depends on the object’s age, rarity, size, and loan period.
