On the last Wednesday of each month, admission to the Theatre Museum and other Cable Museums is free during the final hours of the day. It’s a great opportunity to explore the exhibitions – and sometimes there’s even extra program!
January’s free evening takes place on Wednesday, January 28, from 16:00 to 18:30. The museum’s unusual closing time is due to a performance Long Play – Goodwin Needs a Friend by resident artists starting at 18:30. Tickets for the performance are sold separately, but in honor of the free evening, some tickets will be sold at the door on a “pay what you can” basis. A link to advance ticket sales can be found below.
Open exhibitions include the permanent displays It’s Showtime and Arkadia Theatre, as well as the temporary exhibition Amaze! Tales and Magic of Circus. There’s plenty to see and experience – and of course, things to try yourself!
